Adequate Notice Program 3—Consumer and Business

These programs address the "adequate notice" requirements of Section 326 of the USA PATRIOT Act by informing customers that your bank is now required to verify the identity of all individuals, maintain records of such verification, and compare identification with government lists of known or suspected terrorists. The language is appropriate for consumer accounts. Program 3 features a modified version of the sample language provided in the final Section 326 regulations. It has been modified slightly, so that it can be used for both business and consumer accounts.
